Grading

Grades are based on a 100-point system. Students will receive up to the maximum number of points indicated for each item, as listed below:

Quizzes	20 (2 @ 10 points each)
Projects	50 (4 @ 12.5 points each)
Exploration Exercises/Weekly Assignments	20 points
Participation & Conduct	10 points

Quizzes:

• -Midterm
• -Final

Projects:

• -Outrageous Portrait
• -Photo Retouching/Recoloring or T-shirt Design (your choice)
• -Illustrating with Text
• -Collage: Can be CD/DVD/Video Game/Book cover, poster, etc. (must use at least 3 images)

Participation:

Final letter grades will be determined by the total of all points earned as follows:
