VIS201 Project 2 -- T-shirt Design via Threadless.com

If you choose to do the T-shirt Design project, you'll be graded on your ability to create a T-shirt design according to the Threadless.com printing instructions. You can find all the information for this here.

Create your design as if you were submitting it to Threadless.com. I encourage you to submit your final design to the critique forum on Threadless.com to get feedback on your work and then upload it to their site to be selected for print.

If your design gets selected you get $2,000!

You are all very good and capable artists. If you follow their directions, any of you could easily succeed in this contest. Use the feedback you get in class and on the Threadless.com critique forum to improve your design before uploading it to be voted on.

Please turn your final (.gif) file into me as well as your layered .ai, .fla or .psd files.

All of the directions for doing this are on their site. You will be graded on how well you follow their instructions.

In class I said that the T-shirt needed to have a front and a back. I am officially revoking that statement. If you'd like to do a front and back that is fine, but only a design for the front is necessary.
